The Slimmer Gigabeat X30
With the recent release of Toshibas new slimmer perpendicular comes slimmer Gigabeats. The 30GB player is smaller than its F series counterpart with the same resolution screen. It will play MP3, WMA, and WAV file formats. Additionally it will have photo support for JPEG files. The player will retail for around $300 when it hits the states.

Yeah I have the F40 and its filled to almost 30GB this new X30 will have the same couple GB for the interface so im not sure if all my music would fit on the X30.
Anyways, I wouldnt go out and buy this just because its smaller... I have 10 more GB and thats fine with me if its a couple cm larger.
I input my photos onto the gigabeat through gigaroom and it will accept JPEG and BMP in Gigaroom. I know it converts it to a file that is compatible with the gigabeat so im not sure if this "New" compatibility will just allow you to copy Jpeg straight to the player or what?..
But all in all it is a very solid HDD Mp3 player all around. It acts its name as an MP3 PLAYER and does not try too much *cough ipod video cough* with videos. It has a nice 2.2 inch screen with high res on pics. It organizes music very nicely and the "plus touch" takes about as long as the ipod touch pad did.
Finnaly i hope these new versions can attract new customers and stray ppl away from the iPod craze.

I have the gigabeat X30 in red. It's really good and i'm 100% happy with it. I think that you need to choose an mp3 that suits your needs, not what's the top on all the reviews.
