Harman Kardon Acquires PhatNoise
Harman Consumer Group, the parent company to brands JBL, Infinity, Harman Kardon, Mark Levinson, Revel, Audioaccess and Lexicon, acquired PhatNoise maker of a hard drive based MP3 player for the car called the PhatBox. In addition to the PhatBox they also provide other automotive multimedia products.
I would like to see more hard drive based MP3/Media players for the car because frankly hooking up a portable digital audio player even to a direct AUX input is not the perfect solution. PhatNoise is on the right track with their PhatBox and it is closer to the perfect solution, provided that you have $800 to shell out for the base model trunk mounted 40GB PhatBox.

I missing that item so much, because i consider it more superior than iPod classic video (Apple iPod Classic suck to me), i had to connect the ipod with three cables instead of one like the phatbox or the Kenwood Music KEG that just use one cable, please PHATNOISE OR HARMAN KARDON do justice to this item again, most sad yet Kenwood Tehcnical Support said that none of your new 2008 headunit give support to the Music KEG, can someone tell me if this is true? and why?
Thanks
