Creative’s New High-End Player, The Zen Sleek
I ran across this press release on HEXUS.net. Creative is releasing a 20GB player with a vertical touch pad and blue backlit screen called the Zen Sleek. It will have all the Zen features including FM recording and microphone. It will have a battery time of 16 hours. They describe it as a hi-fidelity, high-end player with “Stunning design, in smooth aluminum and cool white contours“. Disappointingly, there are no pictures with the press release. Could this be the new player reported earlier?
Update: The photo we posted earlier was a prototype of the Zen Sleek. Here are the new press release pics. This may give iPod a run. It is slightly smaller and lighter than the equivalent 20GB, plus it has more features. Very nice… but I want a 60GB version.

Eh. Unless they fix their dated GUI and add useful features into their firmware (a 5-band equalizer and gapless?).
Bah, I'm fooling nobody. All I want is the Karma in a better hardware package. =P

Am I wrong or that dock is a creepy imitation of iPod's ones?

i cant believe all u guys ipods are so expensive and this is way better as its less expensive and just as sleek cool and plus everyone has an ipod god can u people please get a bit of individuality insted of following the crowd

I agree ipods are for people who want to be populaar and follow the crowd. Be an individual and not such a pod person

I got one for Christmas not too long ago. As I see it, it complete blows the iPod away. The sleek feel, and not to mention it's way cheaper. I mean for $200, I can get an iPod nano that's only 2GB. For $250, I can get a full fledged Creative Zen Sleek. Why is it better? 20GB!

God ipods suck so much.. i tried one out and it is so stupid.. plus when ever something would go wrong with the ipod ( at the most every 3 weeks) i would have to exchange it for another one. i finally went to the Zen micro and for 4 months no problems so its great! plus 5 G's is enough for me... plus in the categorie .. its ipod mini agains zen micro.... zen would beat it any day
